  5.1 is all mixed when rendered…?

  I have standard L+R, C, LFE, Surround L+R channels in my timeline. What I need is that they all be kept exactly as they now are (exactly the same as imported). But however I export, Vegas is both automatically fading down some of the channels, but worse, adding the L+R to the other channels, essentially creating it’s own mix. I need the output to be nothing but the original audio. So I tried fading up to 0.0 for all tracks, and exporting as Mono (multiple) .aif’s instead of the ac3. The same thing. It remixes everything.

  So then I tried turning off various channels, and exporting them out one at a time, as either mono, or in the case of L+R and Surround L+R, Stereo .aif’s.

  NG, now some of the tracks are just blank!

  How do I get this stuff out?
