    Hi,
I have a DVD with 5.1 audio that I want to record to DigiBeta.
For this I rip the VOB containing the Video and the 5.1 AC3. Then I drag the VOB in the Vegas project.
    1. When using a 5.1 project Vegas splits the channels. Fine. Now I want to make a stereo downmix and render a IMX and WAV to play it out to DigiBeta with Symmetry/BlueFish. But how can I manage that? I tried a lot but had no success in getting a good stereo Wav.
    1. When using a 2.0 project Vegas makes 2 channels out of the 6. But it seems that these channels are not a stereo downmix.
How can I manage this? Is this possible in Vegas?

    Thanks for help,

    Tobias.

As mentioned previously, send the 5.1 info to 6 busses, and mix the two channel from there. Collapsing 5.1 to stereo is no easy feat if you want it done convincingly.
