    5.1 Audio and RealTek HD Audio card?

    I have an HP 1540n with an integrated Realtek HD Audio card. It supports 5.1 audio playback, but I cannot get audition to recognized anything but the stereo channels.

    Am I missing something in the config or do I need another 5.1 card?

    On the session side you can go to Ctrl+E and your multi channel encorder will come up this will allow you to set up your stereo field for each clip … I would also go to OPTIONS > DEVICE PROPERTIES and check your settings there as well …… WILLIE
