  5.1 ac3 import creates what sounds like time code noise

  I’ve imported an encoded 5.1 ac3 file (480kbps)exported from Premiere Pro C3 using the Premiere SurCode Dolby plug-in. When I try to audition
  the sound in Encore I get what sounds like “Time code” hash. When I actually burn a DVD I get the same awful sound.

  What could be going on?
