Well now the issue re-appeared and we’ve tracked it down to anything that’s brought in via Automatic Duck from a Avid timeline. The Duck recently shipped the new version 2.0 of the Pro Importer for FCP and it appears to have affected how recaptures are performed via FCP.

Anything logged and captured within FCP is 100% correct. Any OMF’s that are imported from Avid via the Duck results in captures that are always with 3 audio channels and with clips that appear twice the length they really are. The workaround is to manually Reconnect all media after the batch capture.

Have forwarded all the information to Wes Plate and I’m sure he’ll get it figured out shortly.
