  50p footage reads at 25fps in Premiere pro CS6

  Hi.

  Jus wondering why my AVCHD 720/50p footage reads as having a frame rate of 50p in the media browser, but when I import it into my project or click on info for that clip it shows as 25fps?

  Does 50p always mean 50fps?
