50i shows 25P in AE?
Hi
Please advice here..
I bought a camcorder from canon (HF M46). It can shoot in 50i or 25p.
So I made a couple of shootsm with both frame rates, but when I import the clips to after effect, they all show 25p??? What happend to my 50i clips?
I also tried to make a comp setting with 50i, and added the clip which I knew I shoot in 50i, but that did not seem correct nor nice, a bit jerky actually..
please advice..

See Interlaced video and separating fields [link] in the docs.
You need to tell AE to interpret the footage with interlace, and you need to tell it to render with fields (in Render settings [link]) to get 50i output.
