I’m working on a project shot at 30fps on the Canon 5D –

after doing a low-res offline – I’ve connected back and discovered (to mu horror) that some vital clips were shot at 50fps = some of these are dialogue shots and we aren’t after any high-speed effects.

What is the best way to convert the footage so it sits in the 30fps un-noticeably?

I’ve tried interpreting it in AE with the Andrew Kramer animation preset – but it sticks out in the edit.

    Any other suggestions?

The first thing I usually try is Compressor. I’ve also had some success with Shake and many people have had success with Nattress Standards Converter.
