5.0b4 Bug – Preview Audio while Capture in FCP5 doesn’t work with SPDIF
It plays back the audio through the Mac’s audio output. It also plays back though the embedded SDI audio. But the SPDIF output doesn’t work when trying to preview during capture (after checking the box of course).

Blackmagic Design -
Blackmagic NTSC -> DV Easy Setup. I’ve tried it with Digibeta and with a BetaSP (see my other post). I have channels 3-12 turned off, and channels 1 & 2 set as a stereo pair.
FYI, my audio output IS set to follow video which is set to the Decklink.
I don’t know if this just started or if it’s always been the case since version 5. I recently stopped monitoring audio from my Multibridge and started using the SPDIF again. The SPDIF works just fine from a sequence or from the viewer, but not with Log and Capture. It’s very strange. My Tiger and FCP installs were clean. I installed them on an empty system disk.
