    In PAL land, the HD-100 shoots at 50 fps but plays back at 25 fps.

    Normally when you digitize this will give you regular 25 fps speed, but with my current setup (FCP, Kona2 on Mac) I can digitize to a different codec than HDV through the Kona.
    Using the Panasonic HDDvc Pro 100 codec actually gives me 50 fps playback. Only drawback is I have to double the clip length/set a later out point, for it to get the desired clip length.
