5 hrs audio file along with 1 picture fast rendering
Hi guys,
I have a 5 hrs speech audio file and I am trying to create a video along with 1 picture.
When I render it in Sony Vegas 10 it took 4 hrs for the rendering time.
This is crazy for an audio file. I just want to ask you guys if you know a quicker way or a software that we can use to render this 5 hrs audio file along with 1 picture faster, quicker???

What format are you rendering to?
What’s your CPU? -
4 GB RAM
i3 PROCESSORFORMAT: MP4

I’m guessing from your original post that this is a video file which means that you’re making Vegas work at it as mp4 can be processor intensive.
What version of Vegas and what mp4 template are you using (i.e. video frame size and bitrate)? -
Internet template 1920 X 1080px
Not so sure about the bitrate.I rendered the audio to Adobe Audition.
But it seems its taking too long.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I got swamped at work and at home.
I just tried a test render on my work computer (also an i3) and a 7 min. file (audio plus a still image) took 18 minutes to render a 7 minute segment so your time is definitely in the ballpark.
The only way to speed it up is to use a different template or get a machine with an i7 processor.
Out of curiosity, why are you using the template that you’re using?
In my opinion, 1920×1080 is overkill for your needs.
