    Hi

I’m working in HD project on a documentary consisting of specially shot material in HD and a lot of archive material that is originally shot in 4×3.

When the material is in the timeline it appears squashed. In avid I would just put a re-size on the picture (making the vertical 133) and rack the shot as I saw fit.

Is there a quick equivalent in FCP? At the moment and I am using distort in the motion tab, having to stretch all 4 corners of the picture separately. Once I have done it for one clip, I copy, then past attributes to other archive clips which is very boring and slow. Is there a quicker, simpler way?

    Your help is much appreciated.
