Hello my friends, I’m trying to work with Red Scarlet media and, after export “Quicktime Wrapper” media to a folder, to get all that F, H, M, P reference clips, using REDCINE-X (because Scarlet don’t do it by itself), I got a so draft pixeled image after rapid import.
When I go to the original F file to review it on QT player, it look gorgeous.
Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
I’ve tried sliding the REDCODE Quality from Higher quality to faster and nothing happens.

Dear Floh, I’ve saw your Red tutorial again and I can’t find what’s the problem.

The problem is that you cannot debayer (decompress) 4k material in realtime, it simply is not possible on todays CPUs. Therefore Media 100 opted to do a draft decompression for realtime playback. If you want to see your image in full quality, you can use the Catch Frame window. And there is a quality setting for Red decode in the Preferences if you want to render your footage (e.g. into a HD timeline, for Export,…)
