  4k footage on older systems…

  All the 4k projects I worked on in Premiere were editing in the full 4k res. Tomorrow I start a 4k project on a sytem that most likely will not be capable of doing so. Of course with FCP in the past I would dump everything to 1080p pro res but is there a faster way to do this with Premiere? I believe you create proxies? What is the process for that and how time consuming is it? … Thanks in advance.
