October 30, 2013 at 10:52 pmHaha for sure, I was meaning in the field, as opposed to currently driving 😉
Same behavior here, adding a clip to the secondary after the workaround causes the frame size bug again. Also, I tried messing with spatial conform settings after the bug, it doesn’t bring the clip back to 4k.

October 30, 2013 at 10:59 pmCool. Thanks for checking. It’s messed up here, too.
I sent a bug report to Apple, lets hope they see it!

October 31, 2013 at 12:11 amApple are very good at picking up bug reports, FYI I can’t reproduce the problem on my system.

November 1, 2013 at 10:29 amThings are even worse…
I’ve created SD sequence, put one HD clip (clip “A”) on main and connected another (clip “B”) to it. Now, I only have to Disable “B” clip to make “A” change its properties to 720×576. And if clip “A” had spatial conform set to None and re-framed some way, then it shrinks accordingly, as its 100% became 720×567. Easy way to make your timeline a mess… -

November 1, 2013 at 1:48 pmI highly suggest contacting Apple and leaving feedback.
It does appear that they do track these types of bugs.

November 1, 2013 at 11:00 pmFYI. I was able to reproduce this once, and now I can’t. Bizzar.
The time I did see the bug I was able to get the special conform to “work” on “none” again by transforming the clip just a small amount and then, switching to “none” and then resetting the transformation.
