4.5 to 5, not gonna happen? Help…
My system is a 867mhz g4 powerbook with 640 ram, 5 gigs available on the HD, running 10.3.9, and Quicktime 7.0.3, it’s got the Nvidia Geforce MX AGP vid card with 32Vram, a quartz extreme card ( to my knowledge) I just purchased the upgrade to FCP 5, having run 4.5 for some time now. I realize I do need a new system, and soon, however, I am now out some dough, having checked out the system requirements, this shouldn’t have been a problem? Any thoughts as to what obvious requirement I missed, I am not doing HD work…

It’s the AGP card, probably. Check the card model against the acceptable list?
