    hello:

I have shot few videso with canon s3is at 640×480. which is pretty good for a camera.

I want to experiment with outputting as a 16:9 video .

I found 3 places where the video can be possibly stretched

    1. if I right click on media and select properties, I found I could change the video size

    2. I found there project options which can be set to 16:9

    3. finally rendering , I found a 16:9 option as well

my question is why are there 3 different ways of doing this?
which one should I choose and why?

    thanx

You cannot create a higher resolution than waht you are starting with, so making the image bigger is not a good approach. If you want widescreen, then you can mask the top and bottom.
