  4:2:3?

  Crazy question. Is there such thing as 4:2:3 color sampling? Someone told me they bump footage to 4:2:3 use that in Color then bring it back to Prores 422. Does that make sense and if it’s possible how do you do it?
  I’m more curious than anything.
