4.0 XML ?
Can I export a 5.0 XML and import it into final cut 4.0?

AS long as you use the same version number XML (can’t use XMLv3). THis was the ‘old’ way of getting a project from FCP5 back to 4.5 when FCP5 came out.

So I can get it to 4.5, which version CAN i use v.1 or v.2?

Honestly, I can’t remember, but v1 should do ya well.

Does it work with 4.5? When did XML come out? I thought it was 4.5, but I really can’t remember. My thinking was that it was v1 was 4.5, v2 was 5 and v3 is now 5.1.
