40 Sec Motion 3 Project Won’t Open
Hi Guys
I’m aware that I should keep Motion Projects to 30 secs. A ‘big’ project that won’t open for me right now (spinning beach ball then Motion crashes – I have to use ‘Force Quit’ eventually to close Motion) is approx 35 secs with lots of baked layers.
I’ve trashed prefs a couple of times and can create a new project without any problems.
Unfortunately I can’t open this ‘big’ project’.
Any tips about how I can retrieve it would be really appreciated. Perhaps I should delve into the ‘Autosave’ feature?
For some reason I’m not seeing the ‘Restore from Autosave’ option.
“Choose File > Restore From Autosave.
The Restore Project dialog appears. ”Warm regards

Auto save is the best place to start. Also take a look at this article it may help: https://support.apple.com/kb/TS3061

Thanks very much for the info and link – opened an ‘autosave’ file directly from my RAID and I’ve got it back again.

You have to love the Auto Save feature. It has saved my bacon more then once.
