  4 channel HDV

  I have a shoot that was done with a canon xl h1 with nat sound on channels 1 & 2 and mic on 3 & 4. I don’t have access to a Canon camera and my sony HVR-M10U will play back the footage fine it just doesn’t play back audio 3 & 4. I haven’t found a way of changing the HDV preset in FCP to include channels 3 & 4. Also if I change the sony deck to downconvert it will not play back the canon shot tapes as I figured I could just capture it DV with channels 3 & 4 selected.

  Any ideas on how to get the audio?
