I hve shine, but can’t seem to find where it should go. I have the new and older version (at least its one of the older versions…but since I can’t get it to even show up I’m not sure what version it is). I’ve tried putting it in:

    System>Library>Application Support>BorisFX
    and…… same folder tree>BCC

When I launch Red, it is not listed in the filter menu. I have tried the filter manager and its not there either.

    Where should I put it?
Anyone know what version of Shine worked in Red?

    Thanks.

I should add that I did check the manual, both volumes. No where that I could find does it tell you where to install 3rd party filters. It just mentions how to manage them within Red.

    Hello,

3rd party plug-in filters, such as Trapcode Shine, need to exist in this directory for them to become available in RED, Graffiti or FX:

    Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/BorisFX/BorisPlugins

    Cheers,

    Peter.
