  3perf Bin Conversion in MCA and Xpro

  All,

  If you’re running recent versions of XpressPro and Adrenaline, I’m sure you’ve seen this question a few times now. Since I believe the .2 release – 5.2 and 2.2 – when opening older 3perf projects you are greeted with the message that the 3perf data will be converted and and those bins will no longer be able to be opened in older projects. I’m assuming this is related to the new mixed film gauge functionality that the .2 release is capable of.

  What’s really going on there? Does anyone know how is it being converted? We’ve noticed that clicking “ok” appears to do nothing…. How do we know if it did convert it if that’s what we want; and if that’s not what we want, will we “dirty” the bin just by opening the bin into the .2 software but hitting “cancel” at the prompt that comes up?
