    yes, be sure to export from max as rpf with Coverage, z depth and Alpha Channels Enabled. When you add the layer into your timeline. Highlight it, then goto Animation -> Keyframe Assistant -> RPF Camera Import. It will add a camera to your scene, matching frame for frame max’s camera data.

    There is also some dedicated commercial transfer plugin for MAX that allows you to transfer Lights and Null objects along with your camera all in one go. If you do a search on the web, you may certainly find it.

    Ah, thats the point. Didn’t know how to “extract” this extra data from a RPF render. What a shame I already rendered as tga.
