August 18, 2006 at 7:25 pmyes, be sure to export from max as rpf with Coverage, z depth and Alpha Channels Enabled. When you add the layer into your timeline. Highlight it, then goto Animation -> Keyframe Assistant -> RPF Camera Import. It will add a camera to your scene, matching frame for frame max’s camera data.

August 18, 2006 at 7:57 pmThere is also some dedicated commercial transfer plugin for MAX that allows you to transfer Lights and Null objects along with your camera all in one go. If you do a search on the web, you may certainly find it.

August 18, 2006 at 11:09 pmAh, thats the point. Didn’t know how to “extract” this extra data from a RPF render. What a shame I already rendered as tga.
Thanks!
