3D Word Wrap Warp ***URGENT–approeaching deadline***
We’re on a tight deadline and ran into a big problem I found this tutorial https://library.creativecow.net/articles/chao_joe/textstream.php Creating a text stream. And figured we’d be able to create a 3D warping text stream like our sample here https://www.walterrobot.com/pip/texttest.mov However when I applied the codes used in the tutorial above to my dismay, it doesnt warp the edges of our thand written text layer, instead treats it as a flat object and moves it around 2-dimensionally. Thus i’m looking for code that will warp the edges of our hand written text layer, making it follow a 3D path while warping it, making it curve and appear like a 3D object.
Possible with expressions? Possible w/o the Zaxwerks?
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. -

cc cylinder will take a flat layer and wrap it around a cylindrical shape, which looks like it may work for you… if you pre comp the handwriting texture and angle it some in the precomp, it will create a kind of spiral design when wrapped in cc cylinder.
