June 18, 2013 at 2:11 pmI’m not 100% sure what you mean by 3D widget.
View > Show Layer Controls (Ctrl+Shift+H on PC, Cmd+Shift+H on Mac)
Make sure Handles are enabled in View > View Options (Ctrl+Alt+U on PC, Cmd+Opt+U on Mac)

3D axes 🙂
Ae considers them “layer controls” and groups them with “layer handles.”
