I want to create a short little snippet of me shaving in the mirror and i want my reflection to reach out of the mirror while im shaving and shave a spot i missed. Can anybody give me any ideas on how to achieve this effect or direct me to a tutorial that would help me obtain information about doing such an effect. Thanks

This is more a matter of planning the shoot rather than compositing. You need to measure out your scene, then place marks on which you stand and move while shooting. For the mirror you more or less only need an empty frame as a placeholder. It really only comes down to you being able to repeat all actions with as perfect a timing as you can. You should also shoot some clean plate of your location or have bluescreens behind you, so you can fix/ replace the background in the mirror. If the mirror frame or the camera is moving, you may need to have some additional track marks in your scene.
