Hi. I accidently posted this question in the Podcast forum, but thought I should really be asking this question here. In Aharon Rabinwitz’s niffty flocking tutorial, he shows a custom view of a 3D comp, where the bird is viewed by an oblique angled camera, but there is a reference grid box in the background, similar to 3D aps. How do I activate that view with grids? I’ve tried the custom view, and selected the grid option, but that just gives me a single 2D grid in the background.
    Thanks!

    Hi

There is no such a view that you can activate. You’ve got to make this grid box by yourself(3 3D Layers arranged in 3d space with a Grid effect applied to them)

Thanks Julian, I thought that might be the case.
