I’m wanting to create a large 3D text that reads the numbers “60”. Inside the numbers, I want to have a collage of photos. The idea is I want to animate a virtual camera around this 3D text in after effects and then I will zoom in close to the 60 to were I only see that photo. The photo then turns into a video.

I began creating this project in Photoshop. The final sequence in after effects will be 1280 by 720.

What would be the best way to go about this? I was thinking of creating two layers in Photoshop. The first layer would be the front of the 3D sixty with my photo collage. The second layer would have the depth behind the first photo layer.

My biggest concern is how large should I create this 3D “60” so that when I zoom in, there isn’t too much noticeable pixelation.

    Thanks for the help.
