I need to do a relatively simple 3D text animation where the camera flies in from behind the text as it rotates around to the front and stops. I’ve played around with the C4D demo and am wondering if I can easily use it for this kind of stuff. Perhaps there’s something better suited for what I’m doing. I don’t have any experience with animation.

Any information to get me pointed in the right direction would be much appreciated.

I edit on final cut studio.

    Hi:

Cinema 4d is extremely flexible, powerful and easy to use, especially if you are trying to do simple things like 3d text animation. However, if youu are looking forward only to animate text and don’t have all the money for C4D y would recommend zaxwerks plug-in’s. http://www.zaxwerks.com They’re easy to use, relatively cheap and powerful. I don’t know if there’s one for apple final cut but I believe promodeler is standalone.

You should check on that, and if you’re interested C4D has a lot of things to offer, not just for text, a complete suite for all your needs…

    Regards

    Alejandro
