How would you go about using a camera to move throught that space… I used this expression to connect text boxes floating in 3d space, and I have a camera moving back and forth through space focusing and unfocusing on my text blocks, so theres a lot of blur action going on, except that my beams arent affected by the camera, how can i get the beams to get blurred as well, by the depth of field..

    ?? thanks

Emanuel, did you ever figure this out regarding using a camera to affect the beams?

Trying to use this very helpful expression in the same way you were, and not getting camera blur/depth of field to affect the beams.

    Thanks!

    Hi Dan,
just found this a couple years late; I’ve used your expression and it works great, till the camera moves past the point of connection in z space–then the beam goes nuts…? any ideas if you’re still out there?
