I’ll do my best to describe this… Hopefully someone’s got an idea.

I’m working in a large 3d comp of a road with a car driving down it. The car was done in a 3d app, with camera data exported to AE so I could build the environments. I’ve created a precomp with a road layout from above so I could place things accurately. Everything was working fine until I started trying to do some coloration… The trees, for example, are placed within that precomp, rotated correctly for the perspective in the master comp. They work fine normally, but when I apply an effect, like Brightness & Contrast, they seem to lose their 3d-ness. Out in the master comp, the trees no longer move with the camera. Even having the effect applied but disabled causes this… Any thoughts? Did I describe this well enough? Can provide screenshots if necessary. Thanks in advance!
