3D shadow – alpha matte
Hey Everyone, first timer here.
I’m working on a logo animation and can’t figure this out. I have an alpha inverted matte blocking the text and its a splice animate in. The shadow still shows up when the text is hidden by the alpha matte. Any ideas?

Oh..I didnt realize track mattes dont work on shadows like that…But masks do. either that or you will have to precompose your 3d text..possibly with the 3d precompose effect from videocopilot..and then add the shadows in
