    Hi there,

    lots of questions today:

How do you pre compose your 3d compositions? I use a method which might not be the most clever one:

I copy the master camera into the precomposed composition. Not very handy when i change the camera movements….
Anything with expressions? ,can i link these comps to the main camera?
    Whats best?

    thx

Well, I would create all my 3D Comps, select one of them and precompose it, then I’d do the same thing to the other ones, only then, I’d create my camera and animate it.
For 3D pre-compose always click the “continuous rasterize” option,(a little sun) at my timeline.
If I need a particular animation at any precompose, I just right-click it and click “open composition”.

    For me it always work.

Just like Reloaded said – use “collapse transformations” and place your lights and animate the camera in the main comp. If you need to link cameras across comps, simple pickwhipping will do. No fancies required.

i think i will try the connection of the cameras with the pickwick…to me sounds the most flexible solution.

    thanx
