i am looking for a plug in that has your photos floating in 3d. i saw it many months ago, being offered by a video company as “their” 3d video montage and later found it as a plug in. i can’t find it again and am hoping that someone knows what i’m talking about – any ideas on what company has this plug in?
    thanks

All you have to do is put your layers in 3d space in AE. Each photo would be its own layer. Just enable 3d for the layer and move it into position.
Unless you’re looking for a plug-in that positions them for you.
One way to do it is to use Photoshop (or some other sort of image editing program) and place your pictures in a grid, then use Card Dance or Card Wipe to animate them.

    Just like Michael said.

Here’s a tutorial to get you started. Just use the “Card Dance” effect as opposed to the “Card Wipe” as in the tutorial, although they are somewhat similar.
