3D photo montage
Hi everyone
I’ve seen some fantastic 3D photo montages on the web done in Sony Vegas however I”m having problems finding (a) tutorials on how to do this or (b) templates to download.
I’m trying to create a photo montage for my parent’s 40th anniversary and want to do something a little different from just fades, and zooms and slow twists.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction as to where I can find templates where you can just insert your photos or tutorials or even books on how to do it. my time is running out and I want to make something special but I just can’t seem to find anything to help me!!!

Do you mean 3D as in you want to cut people out of the video and show the image as a 3D scene with parallax? Or do you just want to move the whole image in 3D space like you can with VASST ScatterShot3D?

I think VASST Scattershot 3D would assist you just nicely

I was actually just referring to having photos laid out like in a table top so you are zooming into them and around them and it moves relative to the other photos. does that make sense? i just wanted something that looks better than one photo fading into the next etc!

with lots of track layers, you could arrange your photos, and use 3D track motion to zoom in and around all of your photos.
I’m on a tight budge, and don’t have any plugins available, so not familiar with Scattershot – might be the quicker way of doing the same thing.
Actually, just watched the intro to the plugin – it looks very nice… might consider that as a plugin upgrade if I get a paid project which could use it. Would save a lot of time.
