I am trying to create 3D obejects with After Effects. (spheres, cones, ect.) I found a plugin that looks like it will do it, but I was wondering if there is a free way to do it in After Effects without the plugin. The plugin is Conoa 3D. Please let me know any advice.

    Thanks
    Tim

CC Cylinder+CC Sphere effect and if you have AE 6.5 you can do it very easily with 3d invigorator:)

you can also go for poor man’s 3d by creating shapes and adding a ramp effect

it’s worked for me in the past, but it’s not a perfect, or even very good solution
