    Hello,

I have encountered something today which confuses me. I have a 3d nested composition with the collapse transformations switch on. I can see all the 3d elements of this comp in 3d space from the active camera, however, if I change the view to one of the custom views, I can’t see the comp in 3d, only the anchor point. Why is this?

    Cheers,

    Jim

Are there any effects applied to the composition? Any unusual 3rd party effects?

A workaround would be to create another camera layer above your current camera and using it ad your ‘custom view.’ This will preserve your original camera’s transform data, and all you need to do is turn off the visibility of the upper camera layer to switch back.
