Hello, …fairly new to AE and currently learning about 3D Motion Tracking with CD4Lite, Although I keep running into a problem that I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Is it possible to create your own plane after tracking footage for Cinema 4D Lite? Seems anything I record with my ipad mini 2 results in some panning error message leaving me with little to no decent plane selections. What I have been doing is placing the 3d object in AE and tweeking its alignment in C4D till it looks close enough and forgetting about the plane all together.

    Maybe I don’t need a plane with this type of footage? I don’t know… so I thought I’d ask.

    Thanks in advance.
