    Hey all!

I am having some difficulty with a bunch of 3d layers. i have done a camera move on them and i want them all to shoot off screen at the same time. I selected all the layers at the point where i want the move to start and put a position KF in. then i scrubbed forward a bit and moved the x-axis value so that the layers were off screen.

    BUT

the layers motion paths are curved and because there is some z depth to the comp when they go off it looks poor.

My question is really, is there a way to change the motion paths so they dont bend, they just go in a straight line off screen.

I hope someone out there can help

    Craig

Sure you can. You just have to change the interpolation from whatever it is, to Linear. Right-click on the keyframe, or select all keyframes and right-click. You’ll find your options there.

    Good luck

That’s spatial interpolation just to clarify.

The graph editor allows you very precise control on how your keyframes interact. If your comfortable with Bezier handles, I’d suggest work in this view. Shift + F3 will open the viewer inside your timeline.
