3d max import export
Hi All,
Any ideas for a workflow for exporting camera from AE7 to 3d max 8?
The other way around works pretty well, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to do it the other way round?

MAX2AE is an accurate, precise plugin to get all your MAX data into AE.
Version 2, which is almost out will support AE TO MAX as well,…..keep an eye on it. -
Thanks. Yeah, I’ve tried using MAX2AE, and it works like a charm, from max to ae.
Any suggestions on moving camera data from AE to MAX? 3d tracking perhaps?

I think you may have to camera track
make a cubic arrangement of gridded planes and render out the camera move to an AVI.
bring that into max and use the camera tracker tool -

Max2AE V2 (currently in Beta) will allow you to go from AE back to MAX.
