3D Lighting artifacts?
Hello:
I’ve never seen this issue before, but my 3D light that is affecting vector layers is causing strange vertical shadow lines on its surface. (only rotating on its x axis) A friend recommended rastering all layers but unfortunately, I am too far into an HD uprez to consider this an option.
I have tried to move the lights to reduce this but it has not solved the problem overall.
– My shadow map is 4000 pixels and it was solving the problem but not all the time
– And when I add another light to kill the shadow, it simply causes more issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get away without the light’s casting shadows? (switch off shadows)

Nope… Client has seen it, so it has to stay… 🙁

Alternatively, if you need the light to cast shadows so that the backdrop will accept them, try disabling ‘Accepts Shadows’ on the foreground 3D layers only.
