One option is to create your 3D Texts in photoshop…..save
as a photoshop file…..then import and animate in vegas.

And can you make the picture so it’s possible to remove the alpha colour, if i make the background black/white?

Save it as a PNG file with an Alpha Channel.

You could also use a plug-in like Boris Continuum Complete BCC Extruded Text which will add 3D text right in Vegas Pro 10.0 that you could animate and move around in 3D space. I show you how in this tutorial:

As long as your text is on a transparent background, save it in PSD, PNG or TGA format as all three support alpha channels.
Vegas likes PNG so that’s my preferred format.
