3D Layer problem
Hello,
I have always been having this problem but do not know how to solve it.
I have a footage of a dolly out shot of some buildings, 200 frames.
I drew a matte painting over frame 0, and its perfect.
Then I tracked the shot with pftrack, and its perfect.
I exported the camera to after effects, everything looks fine.
I placed my matte painting over frame 0.
To get the painting to follow i thought i should turn on 3D layer. But once i did, the perspective got changed. I am having a hard time messing with the position, scale and rotation so it goes back to whhat it was like before i turned on 3D layer.
This thing always happens when i turn on 3D layer. Everything that i’ve positioned nicely gets skewed and goes into the 3D abyss. Usually i composite small objects, so i can just tweak the perspective manually. But this time its a HD matte paainting, i need it to be precisely how it is before i turned on 3D!
If anyone can teach me please, much appreciated!
Kew
