    Hey guys,

Can I have a 3D invigorator object “gradually appear” or reveal itself? I basically have a ribbon, with a layer map attached to it but as I animated the layer map (I have a precomposed element with a moving mask to reveal it), it leaves the “gray 3D object” structure behind it.

    Thanks for your help!

Animating the opacity of the layer map won’t affect the opacity of the 3D object, only the map. If you want to reveal a layer over time you may like to consider the “Layer Cycling” option, but there is no opacity function in Invigorator.

You have to use a duplicate of your animated layermap composition as a transparency map. Just make sure that the visible part in your duplicate is white.

Does this makes sens? If not let us know.

    Salut.
