Is anyone else seeing this? I can use text just fine, but when I try to use an illustrator vector file, I get “no useable vector paths in this file”. I’ve even tried creating a new Illustrator file from scratch, with a simple path, and I get nothing. I have the feeling that I’m just doing something idiotic, but I just can’t figure it out….

There was a post a while ago about this. I think you can solve this when you save the CS2 project make sure you UNCHECK the box that says compression. You no longer need to save it in an older format(Illustr 8).
