  • 3D illusion – Bending and or Warping an image

    Hi guys

    I have an image that i want to bend or warp to give the illusion its being manipluted in 3D space, I am having difficulties creating this effect using various tools.

    Does anyone have any suggestions. Positive advice is appreciated. Thanks

    cc cylinder will actually bend you layer into a 3d cylinder, you can set it to render the front, back or both sides of the cylinder and you can set it to use a 3d camera in your comp.

    if you wanted just a bending effect that might happen if you were shooting with a wide angle lens, a distortion effect like warp may do the trick. there are several style settings like fisheye and bluge that might get you started.
