    I have another question….

In this image we can see two things that have targets around them, a search area of sorts, I need to start with one, with a 3d depiction of this area, easy enough with a gradient (a boole exposes each layer of gradient), but then two of these have to merge to create the ‘sausage’ gradient™, as seen in this image, but in 3d to boole again.

    I am using octane 4 in c4d R20.

I have tried mixing gradients and using the volume object (which I will probably end up using for the subtract/boole part) but cant achieve the look from this image.

Hopefully, I’m overlooking something simple…All help appreciated

    Cheers

    AK

in the end, I used a volume mesher and an octane falloff in the opacity channel, times 4!
