3D from a Still Photo
I have done this before with Photoshop but with a straight on image of hills or buildings, but now I want to take a room, that was a still photo like a movie theater and make it as three-dimensional as possible.
I’ve started to cut the image up in photoshop, but I’m wondering if that’s the best way to handle something like this. So if someone could guide me on what’s the best method for constructing a 3D platform for something of this nature. Here are the specifics of the project:
1. Image on a movie theatre screen
2. Camera pulls out from movie screen, over the shoulder of the interviewer
3. Interviewer on Green Screen talks to us, then we go back to over his shoulder to the movie screen, when cuts needed.
4. Repeat as needed.I have thought about going to a movie theatre and just taking pictures of the wall, then of the front and so on and so forth, but I don’t know if that’s a good option either.
Please any insight would be helpful!
