we’re getting some footage shot in 3D (a hockey game) and we need to cut a promo using this footage that will be conformed out of house. we would be supplying an EDL for the conform.

any and all advice is welcomed as this is our first foray into 3D editing. We will be using an AVID Media Composer to do the offline. What do we need for monitoring, can we use a consumer 3D capable plasma via DVI-HDMI out to view the 3D.

what kind of gotchas will we be facing?

since this is only the offline, how difficult will that be using the 3D footage off a Sony HDCam SR?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I can see from searching on here that there isn’t too much 3D editing going on except on features…

    TIA
